my inspiration

My work is experiential.  The colors and sound of the environment around me are hard to put into words.  But for me they are easier to put on to the canvas.  Translating those experiences into brush strokes with the intention of sharing my vision with others is a challenge, but also an artistic tradition.  My hope is that when people see my work it will bring up emotions and challenge their own memories.  Which is what my paintings are meant to do.
